Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Knaus attended medical school at Eberhard-Karls University in Tuebingen, Germany and graduated in 1982.
After completing a residency program in anesthesiology, Dr. Knaus moved to the USA in 1988 to pursue her dream of becoming a family physician. She has worked in the primary care setting since 1991.
Dr. Knaus’ interest in homeopathy was sparked in the early years of medical school. She continued her education by obtaining a certification from the British Institute of Homeopathy and studying with Lou Klein and Jeremy Sherr.
In 2015 Dr. Knaus completed the Vodder School training for Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy.
At the present time Dr. Knaus is in private practice, integrating homeopathy and MLD into a family medicine practice, in order to give patients a variety of stepping stones on their journey to health.
